Freckles are multiple, flat, spots on the skin due to uneven distribution of melanin (skin pigment) in those areas. they are usually around the size of a matchstick head and are reasonably uniform in colour. they are usually situated on sun-exposed areas of the skin, including the face, neck, arms, and shoulders and usually darken after sun exposure. usually, freckles start to occur at a very young age.
FRECKLES MOST COMMONLY OCCUR IN PEOPLE WITH LIGHTER OR FAIRER SKIN TYPES, AND IN THOSE WHO HAVE A GENETIC PREDISPOSITION TO DEVELOPING FRECKLES
HOW FRECKLE REMOVAL USING LASER WORKS
FRECKLE REMOVAL BY LASER TECHNIQUE INVOLVES GETTING DEEPER INTO THE SKIN. DURING THE PROCEDURE PATIENTS THOROUGHLY CLEAN THEIR FACE, AFTER WHICH A COOLING GEL IS APPLIED ON THEM. IT IS THROUGH THIS GEL THAT THE SKIN BECOMES NUMB FOR SOME TIME, THE LASER LIGHT IS APPLIED, BIT BY BIT ON THE AFFECTED AREAS TO ENSURE SUCCESS. POST TREATMENT LASER CREAM AND SUN BLOCK IS APPLIED AFTER THIS AS THE SKIN IS USUALLY VERY SENSITIVE.
THE PROCEDURE IS A VERY SENSITIVE ONE BUT NONETHELESS IT TAKES A VERY SHORT TIME, USUALLY LESS THAN TEN MINUTES SINCE THIS PROCEDURE IS VERY SHORT YOU CAN BE UP AND RUNNING IN QUICK TIME, WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.ALL SUPERFICIAL MOLES AND WARTS ARE REMOVED
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT PATIENTS ARE ADVISED THAT FRECKLES MAY NOT DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY AFTER ONE SET OF TREATMENT. FOR BETTER RESULTS AROUND FOUR SETS OF TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED.
